Authors will have the opportunity to publish a chapter related to one of their works presented during the congress.

The authors of the chapter must all be registered, and be the same and in the same order as those of the submitted work to which the chapter relates. In the event of altering the aforementioned, the work may be blocked by the system. To re-establish it, an external intervention by the congress organization will be necessary, at a cost of (50 euros), which must be paid by the author.

 

Only one work per author may be submitted for evaluation, for possible inclusion in the chapter book.

VERY IMPORTANT: The same work cannot be submitted both as a book chapter and as an article for one of the collaborating journals. Therefore, authors must choose one of the two publication options. In case of duplicate submissions, neither of the proposals will be considered and the cost of publishing the chapter will not be refunded.

Chapter submission will be carried out through the My Congress section of the website by the author of the work with a single payment of 140 euros when registering for the congress. If the author wishes to hire the proofreading service, for formal aspects and APA norms, the price is 200 euros. The proofreading service includes a single complete revision of the template, formal aspects, and APA norms. It does not include writing, spelling or grammatical errors.

The chapter will follow the same structure as the work presented at the conference, to which the chapter is related. The title can be the same or, be related to the work presented. The length of the text must be a minimum of 1,500 and a maximum of 1,900 words. Papers may be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese. Once the paper proposal has been accepted, you will be able to download the template and consult the editing rules in the private area, My Congress.

The chapters accepted by the Committee of Experts will be published in a chapter E-book entitled  "International Handbook for the Advancement of Science (Vol. 4)" by the editorial Thomson Reuters, indexed in SPI (Ranking: Scholarly Publishers Indicators) Category: Foreign editorials. Position: Q1, or at an equivalent publishing house. The deadline for sending chapters will be OCTOBER 30, 2024.

IMPORTANT: If non-compliance with any of the rules is detected in the evaluation process of the proposal, the author will be notified without specifying which rules have been violated. The author will have a second and last opportunity to send his proposal complying with all the rules. In the event that the second version also violates any of the rules, it will be blocked and will not include the return of the corresponding payment.

NOTE: The book will only be edited and published if there is a sufficient number of chapters that have passed the evaluation of the committee of experts. In case of non-publication of the chapbook, 100% of the amount paid by the author for such publication will be refunded.

HOW TO SUBMIT A PAPER IN CHAPTER FORMAT?

The author must send the proposal in a single Word document through My Congress. Once the work proposal has been accepted for presentation at the congress, a tab is enabled in which you will find the rules for the chapter format and, through which you can attach the document. The deadline for sending chapters is OCTOBER 30, 2024.
